You are invited to submit original abstracts on related scientific topics at the Asia Pacific Symposium on Safety (APSS 2027). The deadline of abstract submission is 30 September 2026 via Microsoft CMT. Only Authors with an accepted abstract will be invited to submit an extended abstract (up to four pages) or a full paper with a deadline of 15 Dec 2026. See Call-for-paper (version 1).
The extended abstract and full paper will be peer-reviewed. The accepted ones will be included in the Symposium Proceedings and invited to give an oral or poster presentation. Conference participants will receive the proceedings in electronic format, and access to the file on the platform will be granted. The conference will not hold any copyright of the submission.
Working-in-Progress Poster (WIPP): Delegates may also submit a short abstract for possible presentation as a WIPP by 15 Feb 2027 via CMT. The format of the poster is A0 vertical. The symposium can print posters if the presenter provides the PDF file before 1 May 2027. |

How to submit? Step 1: Please submit your abstract and paper via Microsoft CMT. Step 2: Log in or create an account if you do not have one. Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions to select your submission track and upload your documents. Click Add a new submission, then fill in the information Please ensure that your submission complies with the format requirements detailed on the templates: See templates of (1) abstract, (2) extended abstract, and (3) full paper. The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support. |

Special Issues: Full papers with good review feedback will be invited for publication in special issues of the Journal of Loss Prevention in the Process Industries, Journal of Safety Science and Resilience (more details to be updated). These journals are indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Prizes and Awards: The symposium Technical Program Committee will award prizes for the Best Papers, the Best Oral Presentation, and the Best Posters at the symposium. |
